El cooperativismo rionegrino: análisis del perfil provincial y regional. Años 2018 y 2019

Abstract

La Provincia de Río Negro, en la Patagonia Norte de Argentina, reconoce en su Constitución Provincial la función económica y social del mutualismo y de la cooperación libre. En ese marco, esta investigación tiene como objetivo describir el perfil actual provincial y regional de las cooperativas y de sus servicios brindados. Inicialmente, aborda algunos aspectos conceptuales y metodológicos. Luego presenta los resultados del análisis empírico basado en datos de los Estados Contables. Al respecto, el cooperativismo rionegrino está presente en las diferentes y vastas regiones de la provincia, pero la relevancia del tipo de cooperativas y de los servicios que brindan es diferente en cada una. Por último y en función de los resultados, se reflexiona sobre el perfil actual del cooperativismo rionegrino, su diversidad y las políticas públicas

The Province of Río Negro, in the Northern Patagonia of Argentina, recognizes in its Provincial Constitution the economic and social function of mutualism and free cooperation. Within this framework, this research aims at describing the current provincial and regional profile of cooperatives and their services. Initially, it addresses some conceptual and methodological aspects. It then presents the results of the empirical analysis based on data from the financial statements. In this regard, the cooperative movement in Rio Negro is present in the different and vast regions of the province, but the relevance of the type of cooperatives and the services they provide is different in each one. Finally, and depending on the results, a reflection is made on the current profile of the cooperative movement in Río Negro, its diversity and public policies.
